Columbitech Continues to Expand in North America with the Addition of Two New Members to the Sales Team

New York – April 30, 2008 – Columbitech, a leading mobile VPN security software provider, today announced the addition of two new members to its growing sales team. Terry Shofner joins Columbitech as vice president of sales for the Western U.S. and brings with him a proven track record as a long time veteran in the data security business. Jason Edgewater brings years of successful sales experience and technical knowledge to his new role as senior sales engineer at Columbitech. Both members will be based in Columbitech’s New York office.  These additions come during a key time for Columbitech, further poising the company for continued growth and expansion, particularly in North America.

Drawing from his strong skill set, Terry will drive Columbitech’s sales initiatives as vice president of sales for the Western U.S. Prior to joining Columbitech, Terry held positions at Westinghouse Electric and Pointsec Mobile Technologies, Inc., now Check Point Software. In his role at Pointsec, Terry increased annual revenues from $.5 million to $17 million in less than four years and established strategic partnerships with retailers as well as led Pointsec to a market leadership position with wins in the banking and financial industry.

With a background in sales and engineering, Jason’s deep technical knowledge base boosts his sales expertise and skill set. Jason comes to Columbitech with a diverse set of experiences from companies such as Mindwrap, Connected Corporation and Pointsec Mobile Technologies, Inc., now Check Point Software. As a pre-sales engineer at Pointsec, Jason secured the largest account in company history and consistently exceeded annual sales quotas.

This announcement follows Columbitech’s recent launch of its Management Server. This latest offering is a centralized reporting tool, which automates audit requirements for businesses that are under pressure to meet compliance regulations, such as PCI, HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.
