Excecutive management team


Lars Resenius, CEO, CTO, a Columbitech co-founder, and a board member. Before Columbitech, he spent five years doing research at Ericsson. He was an executive and co-founder of a successful Swedish consulting company with large multinational clients in the data and telecom sectors. Resenius has extensive entrepreneurial experience and expertise in wireless technology. He brings 20 years of business and technology management experience to Columbitech. He holds several patents in the security and mobile communications area.


 

 


 

Mats Persson, Vice President of Product Management and a Columbitech co-founder. He is responsible for product design functions, vision development, and product plan implementation. He has more than 15 years of experience in wireless communication, embedded systems, and security software product development. Before Columbitech, he worked in key technical positions in projects for Ericsson and SAS.

 

 



 

Ola Jonsson, Vice President of Sales, leads Columbitech’s global sales operation. He brings 17 years of experience from senior positions in sales and channel management. He worked for Cisco, Nokia, and other IT and telecom operations. He holds an M.S. from the Institute of Technology in Linköping, Sweden.

Johan Nyberg, Vice President of Product Development,  is responsible for all product development and customization projects. Using his extensive management experience, Nyberg manages a staff of developers, architects, writers, and project managers. Before his current position, he held several senior management positions in sales and product development, most recently for Teleca Sweden East and Teleca auSystems, where he was managing director.
Lars Lavén, co-founder of Columbitech, is the key architect and developer of the Columbitech solution. Lavén started his career at Scandinavian operator Telia in 1994, developing security systems for wireless access and is a veteran in the field of wireless security.

U.S. Management team


 



 

Åsa Holmström, President of Columbitech Inc and responsible for the company’s day-to-day US operations. She joined Columbitech after more than 15 years of executive leadership in the IT industry. Most recently as the CEO of the technology consultancy firm Kvadrat. She has also worked as a Management Consultant at Cap Gemini, focusing on sales, business development and leadership within global technology companies such as Ericsson and Siemens


 


 

Terry Shofner is the Vice President of Sales, Western U.S. at Columbitech, Inc and long time veteran in the data security business.  Prior to joining Columbitech, Mr. Shofner held key management positions with Pointsec Mobile Technologies and with the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.  His assignments globally include the United States, the Middle East and Europe.  Born in Shelbyville, Tennessee, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.  

 
Tobias Englund is the Vice President of Sales, Easterm U.S. at Columbitech, Inc. He brings more than 10 years of experience in the wireless communications industry. Prior to the employment at Columbitech, Inc., he was employed by Columbitech AB in Sweden, where he was responsible for technical marketing, PR and US sales operations. Before joining Columbitech AB, Tobias spent several years consulting for Ericsson with expertise in wireless communication.
